Mother's Day

Happy Mother's day everyone, I hope you have something good planned for your mothers on friday.

Now this just might be the only Bilingual Driving Home strip I've made (yet) for good reason. The punchline here is based on something Mashrou3 Leila Singer "Hamed Sinno" said during his concert here during the Cairo Jazz Festival. He yelled at the audience saying "Raise your voice Fuckers" in Arabic. The days the followed rendered some sort of a twitter/facebook angerstorm lots of people pissed about how the audience nonchalantly accepted being insulted while the other half defending the whole rockband, spirit of rock and roll type stuff.

What pissed me off personally was the fact that, had this been an Egyptian underground band (and not a Lebanese aka foreign one) using such language would mean they would never play in Egyptian venues again.

So I decided to put it here to see how much of an outrage it would get in a comic.
